Best downhill longboarding video ever (maybe)

This is one of my favourite longboarding videos, I love the way it is shot and the raw speed that the guys reach. The best bit has got to be when they actually goes fast enough to over take a car. Adam Kimmel presents: Claremont.

(Tip watch in HD for the best effect)

Evolution of Skateboard wheels

Pretty unbelievable that the first generation of skateboards had solid steel wheels, I can’t imagine they were that funny to skate on! I wonder what we can expect next in the evolution of skateboard wheels, I’m hoping it’s a back to future style anti-gravity drive ;)

Have a look at our evolution of the skateboard post to see how skateboard decks have changed

Stuntman longboards 100kph on German motorway

Police in Germany are looking for a stuntman who rode on the autobahn near Stuttgart at 100kph. The professional stuntman hung onto a high powered motorbike to gather speed in a move similar to Michael J Fox in Back to the Future. After letting go of the bike the stuntman raced down hill reaching speeds of 100kph (60mph) and basically the German police are not happy.

This guy is seriously nuts

It’s the secondĀ  “Where the Wild Things Are” related merchantise we’ve seen. back in May 2008 Lakai released a set of Limited Edition trainers that featured the characters. They’ve got nothing on these new decks from Girl though, the paint job looks sweet!
